Pure Vision
Pure Lochside is the creation of its founder, Fiona Tutte, who is a highly qualified and experienced aromatherapist. After treating clients in her private practice Fiona received great feedback on her anti-inflammatory blend created to help with arthritic pain. The soothing blend (which formed the basis of the first Pure Lochside product - Calming Body & Bath Oil) became more and more requested for home use and was the inspiration for Fiona to launch Pure Lochside.
The vision was to design and create a range of products that were completely natural but capable of yielding powerful results. Drawing on experience, knowledge and professional instinct developed from an extensive career in the aromatherapy industry, Fiona designs Pure
Lochside products with a unique holistic outlook resulting in an exceptional range of luxury skin care.
Concentrated therapeutic grade essential oils are expertly blended and added to each Pure Lochside product to boost and fortify the mind and body as well as the skin, but what doesn’t go into the products is as important to Pure Lochside as their organic ingredients.
Pure Plant Oils
All Pure Lochside products are oil based which enables the active ingredients to penetrate into the deep layers of the skin rather than sitting on the surface like cream based products. Plant oils work in harmony with the skin and the finest, luxury plant oils used by Pure Lochside do not clog the pores and help to balance the skin and naturally revitalise. The non heated products retain 100% of their vitamin and mineral content.
Pure Organic Ingredients
We believe you should feed your skin from the outside as well as the inside and that's why our unique, organic products are packed with antioxidants, vitamins, pure botanicals and therapeutic grade essential oils. Each aromatic formula is made in small batches to ensure freshness and potency.
We use entirely natural ingredients derived only from plants and our essential oils are all of therapeutic grade which intensifies their overall results. All our ingredients are considerate to nature and kind to you.
What you won't find in Pure Lochside products
Our very ethos is based upon the power of nature. So we never interfere with our natural ingredients or add chemical preservatives, colouring or fragrances. You will not find parabens, sulphates, mineral oil, petrochemicals or silicones in any of our products. The same applies to PEGS, propylene glycol, TEA, DEA, phthalates or anything else other than plants or naturally occurring elements.
Sustainable and Ethical
We try to be fair and gracious to the world that provides us with these wonderful ingredients. We’ll select organic produce at every opportunity, we work with suppliers who favour responsible, community-based production, and we believe in earth-friendly packaging. For example, our organic Shea Butter comes from a Fair Trade project in Ghana, while our brochure and stationary are all printed on renewable 100% recycled paper, made from post consumer waste and bleached using a totally chlorine-free process. While we can’t always source everything in this way, we constantly review and renew our suppliers to ensure optimum sustainability and the best quality of ingredient.
Re-usable Packaging - Our unique hessian packaging has been designed to be re-used and recycled, and to keep the products safe whilst in your handbag, wash-bag or suitcase.
Glass Containers - We use clear glass containers as glass is thought to be the most recycled product in the UK and its production is kinder to the environment than that of plastic. It also suits our ethics as our products are pure and we have no ingredients we wish to hide.
Natural Products
The products contain no chemical preservatives so it is essential to store the products away from heat and sunlight and always use the spatula provided with the jars.
Please note that there may be a difference in colour between batches of Pure Lochside products. This is because the natural ingredients we use can change with the seasons.
